Susana Miranda Morales studied fashion design in Madrid and at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan, and illustration and animation at the ESDIP School of Art. The freelance artist worked as a fashion designer for a major Spanish label but in 2010 she swapped fabric swatches for paintbrushes and since then she has devoted herself to illustration. Stylistically, her work calls to mind fashion sketches, while her subject matter embraces humour.
