For me, painting and drawing are the keys to self-expression.
Mala Alani has had an affinity with Mother Nature ever since she was a little girl. While growing up in Eifel in Western Germany, she would spend her time exploring the region's splendid meadows and woodlands. Now a freelance illustrator based in Cologne, Mala regularly visits Eifel to return to her roots and draw artistic inspiration from her childhood fascination with flora and fauna. Deer, ducklings goldfish and more—the skilful artist combines ink, crayon and graphite to create designs which convey a sense of being truly at one with nature.
