The creations of graphic designer and illustrator, Ali Gulec, are unapologetically bold. The Istanbul-based artist’s work brims with immersive, hypnotic colours, frenzied patterns and surrealism. Human skulls, animals and flowers are beautifully rendered using a fusion of traditional techniques and digital processes. Aside from his personal projects, Ali runs ikiiki, a design studio that offers design solutions and consulting services to international brands.
