Familiar snippets, reconditioned through new perspectives—in his works, Jack Webster transposes the tonal techniques of sampling onto the digital canvas. Drawing on his experience with music production, he creates clean geometric collages comprised of industrial textures. In doing so, he allows substances and surfaces to escape their former context, repurposing them to form new constellations, and masterfully exposing the interplay between sound, image, and texture.
